Brad Cunningham, Founding Partner
Brad Cunningham is an award winning family law attorney with nearly two decades of experience. Since beginning his legal career in 2006, Brad has built a reputation as a trusted advocate for individuals navigating complex family law matters. Licensed in 2006, he focuses on representing clients in high-stakes divorce and child custody cases, providing steadfast guidance during life's most challenging transitions.
Throughout his distinguished career, Brad has garnered numerous accolades, including being named "Family Law Lawyer of the Year" in Family Law by Best Lawyers and earning recognition as a Super Lawyer. He also holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer-review rating for ethical standards and professional excellence. All a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence and client-centered advocacy.
He guides clients through all types of family law matters, including divorce proceedings, child custody cases, prenuptial and post-marital agreements, modifications of visitation and parental rights, child support modifications, enforcement actions and much more.
No case is too big or complicated for Brad. Many of his clients have significant wealth at stake in a divorce, including entrepreneurs, executives, lawyers, doctors and other professionals. They count on Brad to outhustle adversaries and create a proactive game plan to maintain control of cases involving complex property division issues, business and stock valuations, asset tracing and pre- or post-marital agreements.
Before co-founding CUNNINGHAM BARNARD, Brad honed his expertise at a nationwide family law firm, where he managed several office locations and attorneys across the country. Most recently he was a partner at one of Oklahoma’s largest and oldest law firms. These experiences equipped him with a broad perspective and a deep understanding of family law dynamics, which he now brings to his dedicated representation of clients.

Christian Barnard, Founding Partner
Christian Barnard is a distinguished family law attorney, recognized for his comprehensive skill in all facets of family law. His practice encompasses drafting and enforcing prenuptial agreements, navigating legal separations, and litigating complex divorce, child custody, guardianship, and adoption cases. He also represents clients in the division of personal and business assets and debts, alimony, and child support lawsuits.
Christian is committed to guiding his clients through a legal system that can often feel bewildering, recognizing the profound and enduring impact these legal matters have on their lives. His dedication to practicing law at the highest level has been acknowledged through his inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for family law and his recognition in Oklahoma Super Lawyers, which celebrates the state's most talented and capable attorneys.
Christian earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2005, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2009. During his time at law school, he distinguished himself as the Senior Articles Editor for the Tulsa Journal of Comparative & International Law, served as Secretary for the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity.
Since his admission to the Oklahoma Bar in 2009, Christian has also been authorized to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern and Western Districts of Oklahoma. His legal practice further extends to the Choctaw Nation, where he has been admitted since 2017, and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and Cherokee Nation, where he has been admitted since 2021.
Christian remains steadfast in his commitment to providing compassionate and effective legal representation, ensuring that his clients receive the support and guidance they need during their most challenging times. These are the reasons he co-founded CUNNINGHAM BARNARD.
Christian lives in midtown Tulsa with his wife, two daughters, and more pets that any reasonable family should have under one roof.
