Cheyenne Barnard is a family law attorney committed to providing thoughtful, effective representation to clients navigating some of life’s most consequential legal matters. Her practice encompasses a broad range of family law issues, including divorce, child custody disputes, modifications of visitation and parental rights, enforcement actions, guardianships, and adoptions. She also serves as a Guardian Ad Litem, advocating for the best interests of children involved in legal proceedings.
Cheyenne earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Carroll College in 2018. She went on to obtain both her Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the University of Tulsa, graduating with honors in 2023. During law school, Cheyenne distinguished herself through extensive leadership and service, including serving as Executive Manager of the Energy Law Journal, Executive Editor of the ABA Year-in-Review, President of the Paw Law Society, Treasurer of the Resources Energy and Environmental Law Society and the Business Law Society, and Secretary of the Technology Law Society.
Prior to joining Cunningham Barnard, Cheyenne developed substantial family law experience with the Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office, Civil Division. In her role as a preference attorney, she refined her litigation and negotiation skills while gaining hands-on experience in a wide range of family law matters. Earlier in her career, she worked in insurance defense at Richards and Connor, where she strengthened her research, analytical, and transactional skills—experience that continues to inform her practical and detail-oriented approach to client representation.
Cheyenne’s combined background in business and law provides her with a well-rounded perspective on the financial, procedural, and personal considerations that often arise in family law cases. She remains dedicated to guiding clients through the legal process with clarity, diligence, and care, ensuring they receive attentive representation tailored to their individual circumstances.
Cheyenne lives in Collinsville with her husband and dog. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys hiking, swimming, traveling, and trapshooting, in which she is a former All-American.
