Elissa Andrews is a family law attorney recognized for her sharp litigation skills and comprehensive experience in navigating complex legal matters. Her practice encompasses a broad range of family law issues, including litigating high-stakes divorce, child custody disputes, modification and enforcement actions, and protective orders. She also represents clients in the strategic division of personal and business assets and debts, child support lawsuits, and complex settlement negotiations.

Elissa is deeply committed to guiding her clients through a legal system that can often feel overwhelming, and she recognizes the profound impact these legal matters have on their lives and families. Her analytical precision and ability to remain calm under pressure ensure that clients receive steady, authoritative guidance when navigating emotionally charged and sensitive family transitions.

Elissa earned her Bachelor of Science Honors Program degrees in Public Relations and Political Science, graduating cum laude, from Oklahoma State University, where she also completed a Master of Science in Mass Communications as a Distinguished Scholar. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law, graduating with highest honors in 2023. During her time in law school, Elissa earned the prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Writing.

Prior to transitioning into family law practice, Elissa developed a formidable background in courtroom advocacy and trial litigation as an Assistant District Attorney for the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office. In this role, she managed an intensive caseload, prosecuted jury and bench trials, successfully argued high-stakes evidentiary and preliminary hearings, and prioritized victim advocacy. Her courtroom experience provides her with a distinct advantage in contested family law proceedings, allowing her to present compelling cases before judges and protect her clients' interests at every stage.

Prior to her legal career, Elissa spent nearly a decade in the corporate sector as a contract administrator and analyst for American Electric Power where she negotiated, authored, and administered complex commercial agreements. This robust transactional corporate background gives her a practical, detail-oriented perspective on the procedural and asset-division considerations that frequently arise in family law cases.

Elissa remains dedicated to guiding clients through the legal process with clarity, diligence, and care, ensuring they receive attentive, protective representation tailored to their individual circumstances.

Elissa lives in Tulsa with her husband and their miniature Bernadoodle. They are proud parents to a daughter who attends university out-of-state.
